Flint Hills Neuropsychology

Flint Hills Neuropsychology offers local, specialty care for psychological evaluation and diagnosis of children ages 3 and up, and adults. We offer a patient-centered model, where your questions can be answered with customized and scientifically based assessments. If you, or your child are experiencing symptoms with thinking, memory, concentration, behavior, or emotion, we can help you understand the nature of the problem, and make recommendations for intervention. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance plans including Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Tricare.

Dr Christine Durrett, LP, ABPP

Dr. Durrett trained at Harvard University (BA in Psychology) and the University of Missouri-Columbia (MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology), then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at PAR Rehab Services in Lansing, Michigan. She is board certified in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology, and a member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology. She maintains ongoing involvement in academic psychological research.

Dr Brent Schneider, LP

Dr. Schneider has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, a master’s degree from Washburn University, and a doctorate in counseling psychology form Oklahoma State University. He has worked with many different populations across a range of settings in his career, and he has particular interest in geriatric psychology and ADHD assessments.

Courtney Sayers, T-LMLP

Courtney has a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Emporia State University. Before completing her master’s degree, she worked as a psychology technician in a community mental health center. She enjoys learning about the complexities of the brain and how it relates to thinking, behavior, and mood. When she is not working, she enjoys crocheting, reading, and playing tennis.

Carrie Fratecelli, CCC-SLP

Carrie has worked since 2009 as a speech-language pathologist serving toddlers through older adults in clinics, private practice, schools, and university settings. She has specialty interests in cognitive and communication skills, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). She has advanced training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) techniques, including high-tech and eye-gaze systems. Carrie is a KS-licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist, with a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University and coursework in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Temple University. She lives in Manhattan, KS with her husband and the world’s cutest dog Zelda. She also coordinates the Manhattan-area Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Support Group.

Robin Schneider

Robin completed a Masters in Gerontology from Kansas State University, and she has a BA in Psychology and an Associates in Early Childhood Education, covering a multitude of topics across the life span. Robin and her husband live here in Manhattan. They have a daughter attending K-State and a son attending North Central Arkansas University.

Madilynn Allen

Madilynn has a BS in Family and Human Services as well as a BA in Intercultural Studies from John Brown University. As a Kansas native she is excited to be able to give back to her community through her work. In her spare time she loves spending time with friends, traveling, and curling up with a good book.

Darci is originally from Westmoreland, KS, and has 19 years of experience in the healthcare field, including 14 years enhancing operations within a gastroenterology clinic. Outside of her professional life, she loves to spend time with her husband and their three children.

Baylee has a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Kansas and an MSc in Epidemiology from the University of Basel, Switzerland. After living and studying abroad for several years, she is happy to be back in Kansas working with the communities that she grew up in.

Shawna Davis

Shawna is a Kansas native who thrives in helping others. She was a foster parent for 13 years while working as a para educator for grades K-12 for 10 years. Her family moved to Hays, Kansas where she found herself taking on the role as a supervisor/office manager for an Ophthalmology office. After 11 years upon the Doctor’s retirement, she dove into the medical, dental, and behavioral health field before relocating to Manhattan. Shawna enjoys spending time with her spouse while kayaking and fishing in her down time.
