Launch Learning Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic offering specialized academic instruction. We help students grow in reading, writing, and math, by offering neuroscience-powered curriculums for children and young adults. If your child is falling behind academically, has low standardized test scores, or has difficulty with core skills, we can help with proven programs.
Our programming includes:
Intensive academic therapy for students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia or dyscalculia
For reading, we have a team of academic therapists trained in Orton-Gillingham, evidence-based programs: Build (for younger children), and Take Flight (for mid-elementary students and up). Build focuses on phonological skills and letter-sound relationships. Take Flight includes the 5 essential components of reading instruction (per the National Reading Panel report): phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
For mathematics, our curriculum is Math-U-See within the framework of a Multisensory Math approach. This method uses hands-on, concept focused teaching strategies, is evidence based, and aligns with standards based curricula and the focal points of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
Academic therapy services are for students who need the most powerful intervention. Many have a diagnosed learning disability. These learners work with a reading or math academic therapist either individually or in small groups of 2-3, matched by age and level. Virtual services are available.
New for Fall 2025: Private instruction for students at all levels looking to sharpen their academic skills in reading, writing, or mathematics, or to improve study skills/executive functioning.
Private instruction is for students wanting to improve their abilities or address mild to moderate skills deficits. These learners work with a reading or math instructor in small groups of around 4 students, matched by age and level. Private instruction is in-person only.
For both academic therapy and private instruction, Launch after-school services meet twice weekly for hourlong classes, either Mon-Weds or Tues-Thurs. Daytime school-year sessions are also available for homeschooled students. Our summer program has sessions meeting Mon-Thurs for an hour daily.
Launch tuition includes all materials, progress assessment, parent conferences, and incentive program with prizes to boost fun and motivation. We have financing options and payment plans to make it affordable for all families.
